Coffee Buzz Smoothie

This smoothie will be your new favorite way to start the morning. It has that much-needed caffeine boost but is also loaded with feel-good ingredients that will keep you full for longer. And if you're someone who gets shaky from coffee, this is a perfect way to balance that out by consuming it with some healthy fats and ingredients!

Serves: 1 large smoothie


1/2 cup of strong coffee, preferably cold

3/4 cup milk of choice, I like almond or oat milk

1 frozen banana

1/4 cup frozen riced cauliflower, sub more spinach

1/4 cup frozen spinach, sub more riced cauliflower

1 tbsp cacao powder, sub cocoa powder

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

1 large spoonful almond butter

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of sea salt

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender in the order listed (liquid first). Blend on high until smooth, adding more liquid (coffee, milk, or even water) if needed and until it's to your desired consistency.

  2. Transfer to your favorite glass and enjoy!
